The Water Safety Association of Florida recently hosted a special evening bringing together community leaders, supporters, employees, and elected officials to highlight the mission behind our organization and the work being done to advance water safety awareness across Florida.

We were honored to welcome Tina Polsky, Gallop Franklin, and Christine Hunschofsky as guests at the event. Their presence and support reinforced the importance of continuing conversations around public health, water safety, and protecting the communities we serve.

The evening served as an opportunity to showcase the mission of the Water Safety Association of Florida and educate attendees on the importance of proactive water management, awareness surrounding waterborne pathogens, and the need for stronger industry standards and advocacy. Through collaboration, education, and outreach, our organization is committed to helping create safer environments in facilities and communities throughout the state.

In addition to sharing our mission, the event was also dedicated to recognizing the people who help make this work possible every day. Employees and team members were honored for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving customers and protecting public health. From field technicians and operations staff to leadership and support teams, the evening highlighted the strength of the people behind the mission.

The atmosphere throughout the night reflected exactly what the organization stands for — teamwork, community, education, and impact. Guests had the opportunity to connect, network, and learn more about the growing efforts taking place across Florida to improve water safety awareness and accountability.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the evening a success, especially our elected officials for taking the time to join us and support our mission. Events like these continue to move the conversation forward and strengthen the partnerships needed to create lasting change.
